Business Opportunities Summit

Dear Minority Business Owner,

Thomas-McCants Media, Inc., publisher of the Jacksonville First Coast Black Pages is pleased to host the third annual Florida Black Expo. The Florida Black Expo is more than just your average trade fair or network gathering. It’s designed to educate, enlighten, entertain, empower and most of all, further economic development.

As a part of the third annual Florida Black Expo, a Business Opportunities Summit will be included to provide a chance for entrepreneur to learn about upcoming business opportunities from participating corporations, municipalities and government agencies. The summit will be held on Saturday, October 8th from 10:00am to 12:00noon at the Prime Osborn Convention Center (just prior to the opening of the 2005 Florida Black Expo). As an added incentive, those who register and attend the summit will be given free admission to the Expo, valued at $8 per person.

Corporations and government agencies routinely seek bids for contract performance projects that are managed within their companies. Often, contracts are awarded on the basis of merit and price therefore; research and preparation play a major role in developing winning bids. The Business Opportunities Summit is designed to help those seeking bids to become better prepared to compete in future proposals.

Thomas-McCants Media Inc., / Black Expo USA would like to extend this opportunity for you to meet face to face with decision makers. Representatives from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, City of Jacksonville, The Florida Lottery, the Jacksonville Airport Authority (JAA), The Jacksonville Port Authority (Jaxport), the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), and the St. Johns River Water Management District will be present to share opportunities with their respective firms.

Take advantage of this opportunity to grow your business! Simply register by calling (904) 727-7451.

Kind Regards,

Darrin Thomas
